Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn at 2390 West Detroit Boulevard, Pensacola, Florida.

We chose this hotel for our mid-way overnight stop based on the great reviews for cleanliness. And it was pretty clean, so we were happy with that part. However we had a few issues that made us choose a different hotel on the return trip. The check-in person creeped my wife out. The room we stayed in (223) had a horrible smell that was just intolerable (however, I would note that we are much more sensitive then most people to bad smells). The last thing was a small thing but honestly probably made the biggest impact: The soda machine took the money we put into it without dispensing the product. My wife asked the front desk to refund it or fix it and they flatly refused as a “not our problem” response.
